Bio

Daniel Beland joined the firm in December 2003, bringing valuable experience across a diverse range of legal areas, including Aboriginal Law, Civil Litigation, Employment Law (Harassment), and Labour Law.

Daniel has been actively involved in community service, proudly serving as a director for Kingston Services for Seniors, a respected non-profit organization. He has also contributed to professional development by delivering corporate law seminars at the Toronto Business Development Centre as part of the Kingston Self-Employment Benefit Program. In recent years, he has lectured extensively on Employment Law (Harassment) and Labour Law to major institutions and community organizations across Ottawa, Mississauga, and Mimico.

During his time at Osgoode Hall Law School, Daniel played a key role in establishing the Small Claims Court Information Clinic, where he assisted members of the public in navigating the legal process. He further demonstrated his commitment to community service while studying at Monash Law School in Melbourne, Australia, providing volunteer legal support to individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Daniel graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2004, following the completion of an honours degree in Philosophy from the University of Western Kingston in 1997. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Kingston Bar Association, and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
